The midway point of the year has arrived, but there are still a lot of games left in the proverbial chamber. Today, we’re looking at a selection of games that are coming out in the next month.

Massively popular on Steam, Ark: Survival Evolved has spawned a multiplayer spinoff, in the form of Ark: Survival of the Fittest. Players, up to 72 of them in fact, are pitted against one another in large arenas to prove who can earned the title of ‘fittest’. It combines the survival nature of the single player game with the conflict that naturlaly comes from a multiplayer environment.

Ark: Survival of the Fittest, already out on Steam, comes to PS4 on July 19th. The release date for the Xbox One has not yet been announced.

Fast paced race cars, soccer, and explosions. Video games are a wonderful medium for crazy concepts, aren’t they? A runaway hit with gamers, as it was already available in digital download form, Rocket League is getting a physical release with some bundled extras. The Collector’s Edition comes with all current DLC packs, as well as four new vehicles.

Rocket League: Collector’s Edition will be getting it’s on-disc release July 5th.

Carmageddon: Max Damage is the fifth entry into the often controversial series. The one question many fans of the original game had was ‘can it hold onto what made that game so popular?’ The answer, it seems, is yes. Demos of the game have shown insane crashes, weapons, and destruction that the fans expect. That’s in addition to the maps and vehicles from previous games.

You only have to wait until July 8th to partake in all the demolition derby madness you can handle.

The Banner Saga 2 is one of the more anticipated games of 2016, having been originally announced two years ago. The first Banner Saga set itself apart from others in the genre with 2D animated graphics, choosing to focus more on story than on polygon counts. The sequel has already proven itself on Steam, with a very positive reception from fans over the last two months.

Originally announced to be released on consoles in late July, The Banner Saga 2 will actually be coming to Playstation 4 and Xbox One much earlier. July 1st for the Xbox and July 5th for the PS4.

The latest in the extremely popular Monster Hunter series, Generations promises a blend of new monsters and old favorites. New combat styles and polished mechanics promise the fun and fast paced experience fans expect from the series.

Monster Hunter: Generations will come to the Nintendo 3DS on July 15th.

Unfortunately, one game that was highly anticipated will not be coming out as planned. Batman: Return to Arkham has been delayed indefinitely.
