According to the official Playstation Blog a new app is coming to Europe and North America which will allow you to connect your Playstation Now account and its library of over 400 games to your PC. However, it is not yet certain if or when it will be possible for Mac users. However, this app will also allow you to use remote play on your Windows or Mac so presumably soon.
Sony recommends that you have a minimum 5Mbps connection as well as these minimum specs for your PC
- Windows 7 (SP1), 8.1 or 10
- 3.5 GHz Intel Core i3 or 3.8 GHz AMD A10 or faster
- 300 MB or more; 2 GB or more of RAM
- Sound card; USB port
Furthermore, there will be a DualShock 4 USB Wireless Adaptor coming out some time in early September (priced at $24.99 ($29.99 CAD) which will allow you to wirelessly connect your DualShock 4 controller to your PC or Mac. So for those who have dreamed of a legal way to play their Playstation favorites on their own computers, you will soon have the chance.
