Update: Deep Silver addressed the issues with the following statement:

“We’re aware of some isolated incidents of consumers experiencing issues on Wii U, and they’re actually being addressed in a patch that’s deploying out on Wii U systems today. The patch is already live in Europe, and should be hitting U.S. before the end of the day.”

Mighty No.9 the brain-child and spiritual successor to the Mega Man franchise was finally released after a very successful Kickstarter and numerous delays however if you have a WiiU copy you might be in for a rough ride.

Backers of the project have taken to Twitter and various social media sites and have reported on various issues with the WiiU version of the game. They have encountered issues ranging from technical issues like a low framerate and load times ranging from 30-45 seconds. Also being reported are crashing on multiple cases and even in a few cases bricking consoles.

Mighty No. 9 was released on Windows, PS3, PS4, Wii U and Xbox One on June 21st, 2016 with the 3DS, PS Vita, Xbox 360, Mac, and Linux versions being delayed until an unknown time in 2016.
