Welcome to Hell

Doom (2016) is the answer to your retro arcade shooter needs. Combining old school Shooter with next gen graphics seamlessly
Bethesda & ID’s Re-imagined Doom takes you back to an old school shooter while using the clean graphics and gameplay of today.

The Young, The Old, and the Doomed

Doom 2016 does not fall short of being amazing and does not hide what it is trying to be. A run and gun shoot em up style game packed with blood and gore. The 2016 Doom sticks closely to it’s roots and gives the player an old school shooter experience. This is great for new comers, old school veterans who want a bit of old school gaming again, and for those to young to ever really get to experience this type of game in the first place.

How the Hell is Doom made?

2016’s Doom game play is simple, clean and straight forward. Basic FPS controls, run and shoot. Even though it seems simple with a closer look I noticed a very big step in the FPS controls and gameplay with this game. An example of how awesome this is when I was shooting an enemy in the air coming down on him and I triggered the glory kill button and it seamlessly went to me landing on the demons chest and kicking in his head. It made me feel really bad ass and fluent in the game.

Story from Hell

Okay, Lets be honest it’s Doom. You can’t really expect and immersive and emotional roller coaster of a story when it comes to this game. That being said there is a story but to be honest it can be ignored all together as it is basically just a run and gun arena horde shooter. You can follow the story but I was not impressed.
